I wanted something free that was cross-platform (MacOs, Windows, or UNIX/Linux). I like the ability to easily switch php versions, use phpMyAdmin & SQLiteManager and use other script languages such as PERL, Python & Ruby. The Softalicious installer also enables 1-click installs for WordPress.
